Do you have a child who has expressed an interest in geology, or perhaps s/he wants to learn more about rocks? Popular presenter and geologist Patrick Rowe will hold a special two-part workshop for kids.
During the first session on February 18, Patrick will describe the three different types of rocks, go through the rock cycle, show examples of each type of rock, and then talk about how to identify different kinds of rocks.
During the second session, Patrick will go into more detail about how each kind of rock is formed and where it can be found.

There will be a break time in the middle of each session, so kids can bring a snack if they wish.
