Description

Drawing and Watercolor

Talented artist Lisa Coddington will return to PEEC to teach a workshop, this time about capturing the plants and pods of autumn. Autumn seed pods and dried plants offer another interesting stage of plant growth for observational art. Whether you are interested in starting to draw, or if you want to sharpen your drawing skills, this session offers people of various skill levels a chance to practice with different plant subjects. Participants will complete various plant studies or one long study, depending on what is most beneficial to expanding their skills. This class is suggested for beginner and intermediate levels.

This class can be taken as one session, or as one of two sessions if the participant wishes to also take the December 11 watercolors class and paint from their drawings.

A minimum of 5 students is required for the class to go, so please register by December 2, otherwise the class will be cancelled if there is not enough interest. Space is limited to only 9 students.

Please bring your own lunch. We will have a 30 minute lunch break.
